Sukantara Day 2 - Pihoron Still On Top XDXDXD

Well, Day 2 of Sukantara was pretty good. Of course whether it was good or not was decided when the results were read....hahaha. Got the official results from Ms. Lee on Friaday and thus the cumulative points acquired from Sukantara are as follows:

PINHORN : 401
CHEESEMAN : 364
WU LIEN TEH : 348
HAMILTON : 327
(Hamilton - 327 )
HARGREAVES : 295
TUNKU PUTRA : 286

Nice huh xD

Well, I thank God really. If not for HIM, it would have been impossible.

I also thank the guys from Pinhorn. Im glad they pushed themselves and did well, especially for the 100m. I guess the shouting was worth it lol. I heard the Mr. Peng Chew (Cheeseman) ran alongside his boys from Cheeseman for every run of the 100m event.... but anyway, for the 100m event we got 155 points and Cheeseman got 145 points. Im sooo happy and thankful that Wu Lien Teh fell to third place. God kindly answered my prayers that we widen the gap in our lead on the second day of Sukantara. Now Cheeseman is just 27 points behind us while Wu Lien Teh trails us by just 43 points. Still very very risky. Looking forward to Merentas Desa which is on the comming Thursday. Well, lets pray and hope that Pinhorn will champion the event while widening even more the gap in our lead by points :D:D:D

Sukantara Day One - Pinhorn Leads WLT by 7 Points !!!

Well, its just day one of sukantara, but the thing is Pinhorn came up tops with 187 points. WLT our closest rival is at 180, just 7 points behind. Well, considering the rotten attendance during the weekly practices, I was really happy that we were doing O.K. I really didn't wanna be last... I ran 400m and got one point Hahahahaha. I ran with the last few from Class 1 (Boys - Form 5 and Form 6) which happened to be the not so good runners who were even a bit worse than me. So I started out last, but later overtook them all....so it looked damn cool i suppose hahahaha but felt good haha. Some asshole in form 2 is dishonest in taking attendenece in the sense that he marks his friends as present even though the are not. None of the girls passed high jump, unfortunately, and neither did I:( ........... lets keep our fingers crossed, pray and do and hope for the best tomorrow. Go Pinhorn.

LIST OUT THE TOP 5 PRESENTS YOU WISH FOR:

**The following can be considered as wishes rather than desired ‘presents’.

1) Tons and tons and tons and tons of cash in different but strong currencies, all to myself which i can use at my own discretion.

2) The latest edition of a Penguin dictionary together with a Penguin thesauraus

3) A wishing ring.....that works...

4) The 'present of all presents' - liberation - nirvana - total bliss............ (later on lah.........after )

5) A Steinway and Sons concert grand piano, a music room to place it in which can be altered between sound proof and non - sound proof with a collection of other western classical musical instruments......and an adjoining fully equipped and furnished jamming room would be practical too......just in case some friends wanna jam or jamm, however u spell it.

THE PERSON WHO TAGG-ED YOU IS: Shum Yew Chuan

YOUR 5 IMPRESSIONS OF HIM/HER

1) I love his hair xD

2) Hot (Tuan - tuans plz dont be jealouz....)

3) Hardworking - not in the style of someone who makes a consciously diligent effort, but in the
style of one to whom hardworking diligence is just a casual norm.

4). Carefree, simple, humble.

5) There quite certainly exists some mysterious, enigmatic, indescribable, and indiscernible strangeness in his personality and character which cannot be fathomed....

THE MOST MEMORABLE WORDS HE/SHE SAID TO YOU:
There are some things that he has said that I will remember him for, but those utterances were not specifically to me. But there is something he said to me that I don’t think I would forget for quite a long time....haha...but, I think its best that we draw the curtain of charity over this one…haha

IF HE/SHE BECOMES YOUR LOVER, YOU WILL
Fuck him with a chainsaw.

In reality, seriously thinking about it…..well I don’t wanna think about it. Can you actually harm your friend for being who or what he is? I might be able to, but not all friends I think…

IF HE/SHE BECOMES YOUR ENEMY, THE REASON WILL BE:

Probably because he offended or hurt me so greatly, but still I don’t think he’ll be my enemy; I don’t want him to ever be my enemy.

The following is a link to a post by Marina, a friend of mine, who in it details with great sensibility and rationale as to why one should vote for Barisan Nasional. She is one of those very very mature people who are way beyond their years. She is in form 2 this year. Amazing person, awsome blog, astounding post.

Best Salted Nuts

MAS Salted Peanuts
Yeah, the photograph is indeed isn't of the very best quality, but that is the lovely, mouthwatering, tempting packet that contains the worlds best salted peanuts - Malaysian Airlines System Salted Peanuts. I prefer the former silver packet tho. This isnt bad either. The taste, the smell just melts ur heart, clouds ur mind and vaporizes your soul. Much more can be said about these wonderful nuts but I shal now try to fence my verbosity by summarising it all into these three words : I WANT MORE.

HSBC Public Speaking Workshop 2008 in Penang

Finally after two years of anticipation, i attended my frist HSBC public speaking workshop. It was held in KDU College Penang from 9.30 am - 4.00 pm. The speaker was one Faridah Khalid. Pretty good stuff but it was still quite boring. Ahh i guess my expectations were just too high. Not many in Malaysia can come anywhere near Mr. Gerald Green. Anyway, the best part of it all was meeting up with Joshua ofcourse :D We walked over to the 'best mee goreng in penang' stall, but it was unfortunately closed :( Josh had to go attend to some matters there (he studies there - engineering wei don play play... PCK oso jealous u no) I sat opposite a Year 5 pupil, Megan, and had a nice little chat with her while we ate. Mr. Tan was around. He came up to me to say hi despite what happened between us ( my resignation from the bow). He was also there in the morning when I arrived, and was kind enough to greet me and point me in my direction. A human being, but a gentleman indeed.

For the latter part of noon, Pn.Faridah asked us to write an introduction and a conclusion, saying that she would choose participants randomly to deliver it in front. Among the many topics she gave us to choose from, I chose 'Love'. The photographer there told her that I was last years winner of Youth Speaks for the Nation, so she asked me to write a full speech if i could, but obviously shocked when i sat thinking for such a long time before i started writing a thing. I skipped the break to finish it up. Anyway, the result, as I see it, was certainly worth the time and effort:D The conclusion was a little cetak rompaked from the ACA state level speech haha. Things came to a close, ffffiiiiinnaaallllllllyyyyy.

Competition date postponed to March 15 :D:D:D
I still havent written a thing :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

Baba Quotations

"The innumerable worldly affairs you indulge in give you ephemeral pleasures only and cannot give true, everlasting bliss. So, you should develop inner vision. External vison is the vision of the animals. You should not go down to their level. This is not the true nature of man. You should purify your inner feelings. You should develop pure, unwavering and selfless intellect. Only then will you be able to lvoe all and serve all. But modern man has no faith in himself. This is hte main mistake of man today. First, he should have faith in himself. That is self-confidence. Self-confidence is the foundation of the mansion of life. You can raise the walls of self-satisfaction on this foundation. Self-sacrifice is its roof. Supremem bilss of self-realisation can be attained in this mansion."

"Today, we experience frustration, worry and fear every moment. What is the reason? We have no faith. Faith is absolutely essential. Lack of faith makes man susceptible to imaginary fears. What is faith? You must believe in yourself! That is self-confidence. Self-confidence is the strong foundation of lurl ives. On this foundation build the wall of self-satisfaction. Lay the roof of self-sacrifice on this wall. Then you will earn the bliss of Self-realisation. First develop self-confidence, without which you will experience many troubles. Self-confidence is faith in God, one with such faith has no problems. Lack of self-confidence is also the reason for not doing well at studies. Students say,'I study, but I don't remember my lessons.' One without self-confidence lacks memory power. With self-confidence comes memory power. Hence, develop confidence and stand out as sxamples.
Students! First believe in yourselves! Faith in yourself and faith in God - this is the secret of greatness. Life will have no value if you don't have faith in yourself. You and God are not separate. Faith in yourself is the same as faith in God. "

"Compassion towards all creatures is the greatest virtue, wilful injury to any creature is the worst vice. Have full faith in this; spread love and joy, through compassion, and be full of joy and peace, yourself. You do not have joy and peace now, mainly because, your visoin is warped and wobbling. The vision is now directed towards the faults and failings of others, never towards one's own faults and failings. The ears too delight when stories of failures and foibles of others are related. No attempt is made to examine the failures and foibles of oneself. Really speaking, inquiry and the investigation have to begin with oneself. For, what we see in others is the reflection of our own selves, our own prejudices and preferences. Besides, when your attention is focused on faults and failures, vices and wrongs, the mind too becomes infected with the pollution and it starts relishing only experiences that smack of such tastes. Hence, the lives of such people lose the peace and joy that are the heritage of the wise and the wary."

" A devotee once lamented, saying, 'O God! You have forgotten me!' This is never possible; it is the devotee who forets that he is the child of God, that God is his never-failing friend and guide. God is all-knowledge, all-power, all-mercy. Faith in God has to be constant, firm in the face of every challenge by fate or fortune."

Joshua's Tag

1. Pick up the nearest book (of at least 123 pages).
The nearest books to me right now are dictionaries and thesauresses, so i shall go a wee bit further......and we have......tadaa: Cross on Evidence, Fifth Edition by Sir Rupert Cross (nice name ah).

2. Open the book to page 123.
Ok...doing so...done :D

3. Find the fifth sentence.
Finding.............................hah found.

4. Post the next three sentences.
Examples of the second sense in which the word presumption is used are the presumption of legitimacy under which a child must be held to be legitimate on proff of birth during its mother's wedlock, the presumption of the formal validity of a marriage which must be made on proof of the marriage ceremony, and the presumption of death arising from the fact that someone has not been heard of for seven years or more by those who would likely to have heard of him.
These are all conclusions which must be drawn in the absence of further evidence, but the dependence of each of them on proof of a basic fact distinguishes them from conclusions which are presumptions in the first sense. The ensuing discussion is confined to the presumptions in the second main sense of the term, for they play much the more important role in the law of evidence.

5. Tag five people.
Only 3 blogs i visit regularly 4 d time being. Two have been tagged, the other is sleeping (above) in a graveyard, so none shall be tagged.

Concoction (sour and bitter)

Mior came over to Penang on Friday. The previous day he said he's gonna take the bloody 6 o' clock bus from Taiping. I didn't think that there actually are busses leaving so early. Mior waking up so early?????? Noo waayyyyyy, but the probability exists, although quite low (coz of this thing called 'sleepi(sick)ness, lol), so i anticipated his early arrival. He ended up taking the 9 o' clock bus, which later broke down near Butteworth, and I met him at the Penang ferry terminal at almost midday HAH ;)

Off to Prangin, watched Meet the Spartans. It was one slapstic, bullshitty movie, in the sense of quality, but it did give me a few laughs, and was acceptable, so I liked it anyway. Mior, unfortunately didn't seem to like it all that much:( After that, we took a cab to Infinity - a renowned cyber cafe in Penang. What the hecks so great about it lah... the place was rather noisy, and the LOUSY speakers didn't help, so i naturally turned up the volume to listen to some music, and guess what.....the morons (owner/ones in charge/workers/whoever the f**k who runs the place or was running the place at the moment/ dumbfucks) turned off the volume of my speakers through a master control system. Wasnt a good first experience. Couldnt play CS coz they hadn't installed something on my pc....just a badass experience. But it was good since I was there with Mior, and it was a place he liked, so i don't hate it, and I wouldn't mind going back there all tha much. Watched some hilarious ads on Youtube:D and then we left after about 45 mins. Mior to the home of Avinash, and I back to Tg. Bungah. Wonderful to have met up with him after quite a relatively long time. For those of u who don't know mior, I shal be posting an 'of Mior' posts in time to come, which very well be the last 'of ' post.

New Horizons, New Frontiers

Ne ideas plz...danke.

Any ideas on how to make this blog more interesting, plz do let me know....from a detatched perspective, i somehow see it as very boring unfortunately, especially my writing. I somehow feel that I'm getting a bit too wordy... OOI ALEX.........MS. MABEL USED TO SAY THAT OF YOUUUUU not MEEE!!!! HAHAHAHA Is this an indication that my vocab is on its way to becomming as good as Alexes? Perhaps:D lets hope for the best ;)

God bless

End of post.

Well its actually the trailer to their movie which will be primering soon in KDU, but, what gives more meaning to my posting this is coz Joshua is in it:D:D:D:D:D Yes the one and only Joshua Y.W.T. who in this vid pulls off an awsome football trick (if thats what u call it). Dear Friends,

I might be participating in the HSBC Public Speaking Competition. I have to write a speech on the theme 'New Frontiers, New Horizons', and also if i make it to the next round, 'If i can change the world.....'. I really dont know what to write. If you do have any ideas or concepts that would be interesting, please do e-mail me, and I'd really appreciate it. I have to pick a topic based on the theme too....aiyo, really worrisome lah... Please bear in mind that as much as I would like to, I may not use the point or idea you gave me in my final script. I hope you don't take offence. Thank you very much for you'r help. Update

Last night, I smsed a few friends this question :

If English is the international language, what is the universal language?

The replies that I got were quite interesting. I shal not name all the writers (texters?) but among the replies are :

*Cockny [1st sms]; Right? [2nd SMS]
*Sex. [1st SMS]; Or bodylanguage [2nd SMS]
*English?
*Good one...i have no idea

My answer to this question is LOVE, and it came not from where I thought it may come but from Kayshanteny. This was her reply:

***I guess love is d universal language. Cuz it does not matter wat language u speak, love is unconditional.......***

With all that sms spelling, she got it right...
